Pike Family Reunion

Every 4 years the Kenneth and Delores Pike Family (Ammon's grandparents) have a reunion. This year we went to Cottonwood, AZ (about an hour outside of Flagstaff).
I hadn't been to this part of Arizona before (well, it was only my 4th time to AZ anyway) so it was fun to see more of Ammon's favorite state.

Below are some pictures of Southern Utah/Northeastern Arizona. It's quite beautiful and breathtaking, but sadly my pictures (taken from a moving car) do not do it justice. So I suggest you take a trip yourself!

Also I'm waiting for Ammon's pictures of the Grand Canyon. I GOT TO GO TO THE GRAND CANYON! #bucketlist

We also went to Montezuma's Castle (#bucketlist), which Ammon still has.

Kari & Co made a giant scrabble board and it was pretty fun. A little intimidating, though.

One day a group went up to Flagstaff to the Lowell Observatory. That's where back in the day they discovered everyone's favorite planet, Pluto. Ammon didn't go, so Gideon here (nephew) was my buddy.

Driving through part of Flagstaff we were on Route 66. #bucketlist

Other fun things: movies on the projector, sleeping on the gym floor, soccer in the rain with a dog, bleach t-shirts, great food, games, winning 7 Wonders, birthday party for Grandma Pike, great family, etc. etc.
